Trailer : Grudge serves up spooks and Shaye!

Sony’s reboot of “The Grudge” titled, er, “Grudge” is just a couple of short months away — to whet the appetite of the horror fan, a new trailer has been released.

Penned by Nicolas Pesce, this latest update on the Japanese horror classic features a rather superlative cast including Andrea Riseborough, Demián Bichir, John Cho, Betty Gilpin, Lin Shaye and Jacki Weaver.

Produced by series staple Sam Raimi, the Takashi Shimizu written/directed pic sees Riseborough play a detective who discovers a suburban home has been taken over by some kind of greasy-haired, flexible ghost.

You’ll spill your popcorn in January.
