Based on true events, Jeremy Renner stars in “Kill the Messenger”, the story of investigative journalist Gary Webb who alleges the involvement of the CIA in the spread of cocaine throughout Los Angeles.
The trailer shows some rough consequences for Webb as he decided what to do with the sensitive information.
Michael Cuesta directs from a Peter Landesman script with Rosemarie DeWitt, Lucas Hedges, Robert Patrick, Barry Pepper, Michael Sheen, Paz Vega, Michael Kenneth Williams and Mary Elizabeth Winstead also starring.
“Kill the Messenger” will be released on October 10.
