Aaaanyway. The first trailer for “Philip K. Dick’s Electric Dreams” is out, and promises an adventurous sci-fi based series, consisting of 10 eps and arriving on Stan in Australia, and Amazon Prime in the States.
Each episode will be a sharp, thrilling standalone drama adapted and contemporised for global audiences by a creative team of British and American writers. The series will both illustrate Philip K. Dick’s prophetic vision and celebrate the enduring appeal of the prized Sci-Fi novelist’s work.
The show stars Steve Buscemi, Anna Paquin, Terrence Howard, Janelle Monae, Timothy Spall, Greg Kinnear, Richard Madden, Geraldine Chaplin, Jack Reynor, Tuppence Middleton, Maura Tierney, Sam Witwer, Benedict Wong, Essie Davis, Mireille Enos, and Cranston. And the pig man.
Stan’s first international Stan Original Series, a hugely ambitious 10-part sci-fi anthology series based on short stories written by award-winning sci-fi novelist Philip K. Dick (Blade Runner, Total Recall, Minority Report) and executive produced by Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad).
