The first trailer for Adam Sandler starer “Pixels” has dropped.
In the comedy action film, intergalactic aliens misinterpret video-feeds of classic arcade games as a declaration of war against them and attack the Earth, using the games as models for their various assaults.
Kevin James plays President Will Cooper, who has to call on his childhood best friend, ’80s video game champion Sam Brenner (Sandler), to lead a team of old-school arcaders to defeat the aliens and save the planet.
Michelle Monaghan, Josh Gad, Peter Dinklage and Brian Cox co-star.
Chris Columbus directed the film which will open on July 24.
