TV’s The Killing axed after only two seasons

The fat lady hasn’t finished her song, but AMC don’t wish to hear any more.

The AMC series “The Killing”, which was great up until the producers decided to annoy us viewers by not revealing who the mysterious killer of the victim at the centre of the story was until the show’s second season (like a year later), has been cancelled after just two seasons.

Feeling there’s still more in the show than the cancellation may suggest, the show’s producers are hoping to find a new home for it. The show has made stars of its two leads, Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman so I’m guessing they’ll be the reason the show gets a new lease of life elsewhere – if it does.
