Yep, Deputy Andy is in the new Twin Peaks!

Speaking to Twin Peaks Unwrapped about the revival, “Twin Peaks” actor Michael Horse was quick to diminish fears that that follow-up to the cult ’90s series won’t be, well, Damn Good.

“To all those people out there wondering if the new series is gonna be good: YES!”, Horse, who reprises Deputy Hawk in the Showtime series, said. “It’s been the best television I’ve ever seen in the last 10 years. Fargo is wonderful, and True Detective was probably one of the best things I’ve ever seen, Game of Thrones… And I thought, you know, will the fans be disappointed? About three days into doing it, I went, no… no they won’t! There’s NOBODY like David [Lynch] and shout-outs to Mark [Frost] too.”

Horse also, somewhat unintentionally, revealed that both Kimmy Robertson and Harry Goaz are back to reprise their roles as fan favourites Lucy and Andy.

“When you see Andy and Lucy in this, you’re gonna bust up. [Harry Goaz and Kimmy Robertson] are better than they ever were!”

While I think we knew Robertson was a lock, based on what she has or hasn’t said on Facebook, Harry Goaz -who these days is primarily a photographer – has stayed completely mum on whether or not he’d be back for the new series.

“Twin Peaks” premieres on Showtime next year.
