A statement has been released denying reports that Ice Cube and his son O’Shea Jackson Jr. are in line to join Lionsgate’s L.A. Riots film “April 29, 1992”.
“Ice Cube and O’Shea Jackson Jr. have no plans to commit to this project at this time. Any speculations or rumors that suggest that they are confirmed are simply untrue,” a rep for Ice Cube and his son O’Shea Jackson Jr. said in a statement to Deadline.
Reports of Cube and Jackson’s involvement in the project were first published by THR.
