Val Kilmer, Slash starring in Breaking Bad spin-off?

Val Kilmer is involved in a spin-off of TV hit “Breaking Bad” – at least according to “Anastasia” creator Larry Shepherd, who has launched a Kickstarter campaign to fund a series that takes place after the demise of Walter White.

“Anastasia”, according to the Kickstarter pitch, teams Kilmer with Guns n’ Roses guitarist Slash; the unlikely twosome would play US marshals that track down the most elusive and dangerous fugitives that are on the run – one of whom might be the not-so-dead Walter White (Bryan Cranston; unlikely to be onboard the project).

The show would “welcome” appearances by other celebs, like Jamie Lee Curtis and Russell Brand.

There will be regular 12 step meeting scenes in Anastasia that Kilmer attends. We will invite stars in the entertainment industry who are in recovery themselves. Russell Brand, Jamie Lee Curtis, Steven Tyler, Dick Van Dyke, Drew Barrymore, Robert Downey Jr., Robin Williams, Neil Young, Eminem, on and on.

These will be guest appearances on separate episodes, and the star would be told that all the dialogue they use will be completely created by them.

Some guest stars will be in full make up/prosthetics throughout the show, and we will only reveal who they are at the end!

Jana Mashonee and Laura San Giacomo are apparently also attached to the project.

About $350 of the 500k budget has been raised so far – clearly, prospective punters are a little nervous about this one. No idea why?

After scoffing, enjoy the video…
