Vin Diesel joins Avatar sequels?

Has Vin Diesel snagged a role in the upcoming “Avatar” sequels?

A post on the “Fast & Furious” actor’s Instagram would seem to suggest so, with Diesel and director Jim Cameron beaming in from the set – joking that they can’t reveal anything about the films that are in production. It’s also not stated what Diesel is doing on set.

In the video, Diesel says “there is one person in Hollywood I’ve always wanted to work with and learn from”, referring to Cameron.

With Diesel’s schedule pretty choca-bloc (he’s about to start filming the ninth “Fast & Furious”), it’s expected that if he does have a role in the “Avatar” sequels that it’ll be pretty small.

The first of the four “Avatar” sequels, starring Sigourney Weaver, Sam Worthington, Zoe Saldana, Joel David Moore, CCH Pounder, Stephen Lang, Giovanni Ribisi, Kate Winslet, Oona Chaplin, Edie Falco, Cliff Curtis, and Brendan Cowell, opens December 18th 2020.
