Showtime’s new series “Penny Dreadful”, written and executive produced by “Skyfall” scribe John Logan and executive produced by Sam Mendes and Pippa Harris, takes a rogue’s gallery of classic movie monsters including Frankenstein, Dracula and Dorian Gray and retells their tales from a sympathetic point-of-view.
Josh Harnett (“Sin City”) and Eva Green (“Casino Royale”) feature in the Dublin-filmed series.
“Penny Dreadful” premieres Sunday, May 11 at 10 p.m. on Showtime.
