Will Ferrell Heads to Crazy U

Will Ferrell may be gearing up for his next project. Deadline is reporting that Ferrell will likely be starring in New Line Cinema’s Crazy U: One Dad’s Crash Course In Getting His Kid Into College, based on the book by Andrew Ferguson.

Obsessed with keeping his son from making that one wrong step that could dash the youth’s dreams, a dad tries to get the most sought after and expensive private college consultant in the country, insinuates himself in helping his son past the SATs, and all the campus tours and stressful admissions interviews, all culminating in waiting for the fat envelope that will determine success or failure in getting into an elite school that will siphon off all dad’s savings.

Ferrell will take the role of the father. The film will be produced by Adam McKay and Jessica Elbaum.

Ferrell can currently be seen in “Casa De Mi Padre” and will next be seen in “The Campaign”.
