The upcoming “Wolverine” threequel has been shrouded in secrecy so far.
Now in production, we still don’t know much about the film, but Nerdist has revealed that villain gang The Reavers will be in the movie.
And who are The Reavers? They’re a group of thieving, militant cyborgs who not only dislike mutants in general, but many have a personal vendetta against Wolverine in particular.
Now, we’re still not sure how they’ll be worked into the plot. We do know that Boyd Holbrook and Richard E. Grant are attached in villainous roles (Grant as “a mad scientist” and Holbrock in an original role for the film), but we don’t have any concrete details about their parts. Rumour also has it that Weapon X will play a role…
So basically we’re still very much in the dark!
What we do know is that Hugh Jackman is back to play Wolverine for the last time with Patrick Stewart as Professor Charles Xavier, Stephen Merchant, Eriq La Salle, Elise Neal, Grant and Holbrook co-starring.
James Mangold is directing from a script by David James Kelly.
Oh, and the film is set to have an R rating.
