Gal Gadot will stay on as Wonder Woman in a third film in that series. Gadot and Patty Jenkins (director of the first two films) will work with studio chiefs on the stencil for the film – which is said to be more a reboot than a sequel, meaning it’ll likely not connect to earlier movies. Going by that, it’s possible that Gadot will play a different Wonder Woman – from another universe – in the new film.
Speaking with ComicBook.com, Heart of Stone and Red Notice star Gadot said :
“From what I heard from James [Gunn] and from Peter [Safran] is that we’re gonna develop a Wonder Woman 3 together.”
