Action superstars Jet Li and Tony Jaa and are set to join franchise headman Vin Diesel on the third “xXx”.
The “xXx : The Return of Xander Cage” casting news is being reported by Twitchfilm, who add that Indian movie star Deepika Padukone is also onboard the movie.
While Li and Padukone haven’t worked with Diesel, Jaa worked with the big guy on the most recent “Fast & Furious” movie.
Skipping over the events of the first “xXx” sequel, “xXx : State of the Union” – starring Ice Cube as opposed to Diesel, who was busy with “The Pacifier” at the time, “Return of Xander Cage” will also reunite Diesel with Samuel L.Jackson, the only carry-on from the first sequel.
D.J Caruso (“Disturbia”) will direct “The Return of Xander Cage”.
