Dimension are readying another installment in the “Hellraiser” series.
According to actress Heather Langenkamp – better known for her role in another iconic horror series, “A Nightmare on Elm Street” – the latest in the long-running horror franchise kicks off next week under the direction of sfx maestro Gary Tunnicliffe.
It’s speculated that Dimension have had to rush a new chapter in the horror series into production so that they don’t lose the rights to it.
Series star Doug Bradley, who played the villain Pinhead in most of the earlier “Hellraiser” films, says he won’t be back.
“Anyway, story short: a new movie is happening and I have nothing do with it,” the thesp tells Facebook fans. “I was unable to make a decision about it because I was not allowed to read the script, unlike Revelations where I made a conscious decision not to do the movie based on the motives for making it and the poor quality of the script.”
