A while back a twitter exchange between “X-Men Origins : Wolverine” co-stars Hugh Jackman and Liev Schreiber suggested that we might see the latter reprise his role as Sabretooth for the next – and reportedly finale – Jackman starring “Wolverine” movie.
Seems those who read between the lines were onto something with Schreiber confirming there have been talks about a return for his villainous Sabretooth.
”We talked about it”, the “Spotlight” actor tells MTV. “I don’t know. He’s mentioned it to me. The Old Man Logan story — that’s appealing. That’s something that I can do. Old, being the operative word.”
Schreiber didn’t appear in the last “Wolverine” movie (“The Wolverine”) but did appear in the first of the character’s solo movies, released in 2009.
“Wolverine 3”, due 2017, would also see Patrick Stewart reprising his role as “X-Men” fave Professor X.
