“The Walking Dead” has been renewed for season 8 days ahead of the series’ season 7 premiere on AMC.
The season 8 premiere will mark the show’s 100th episode, and will debut late next year.
Live talk show “Talking Dead” will also return with host Chris Hardwick.
“The Walking Dead” returns Sunday, October 23 at 9/8c, followed by an expanded 90-minute episode of “Talking Dead” live from the Hollywood Forever Cemetery, featuring Hardwick, the cast members in Negan’s line-up, and Lucille.
