Former “Criminal Minds” star Shemar Moore will star “S.W.A.T”, a small-screen spin-off of the 2003 movie starring Colin Farrell and Samuel L.Jackson.
Per Deadline, Moore plays Jackson’s character, S.W.A.T. lieutenant, Daniel ‘Hondo’ Harrelson (Moore), a man “torn between loyalty to the streets and duty to his fellow officers when he’s tasked to run a highly-trained unit that is the last stop for solving crimes in Los Angeles.”
Some top-notch talent behind the clapperboard on this one, including ”The Shield” creator Shawn Ryan, movie producer Neal H. Moritz, “Fast & Furious” vet Justin Lin and Aaron Rahsaan Thomas.
