According to the imdb, Gellar wants to play the first female Bond once Pierce Brosnan hands in his keys to the Aston Martin. Gellar says, ""I want to see more women action stars. I don’t see why James Bond has to be a man all the time. When Pierce Brosnan retires I’m going to be the next Bond." High hopes Buff!
