“Paddington” director Paul King is in talks to helm Disney’s live-action “Pinocchio” movie. The Jack Thorne scripted film, a remake of the 1941 film of the same name, will go before the cameras this Fall. (Deadline)

“Star Wars: The Last Jedi” is set for a home video release this March. The Rian Johnson-directed film will be available digitally in HD and 4K Ultra HD and via Movies Anywhere March 13 and on 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray disc March 27. The release will also include two exclusive scenes featuring Andy Serkis as Snoke prior to his digital makeover, scene breakdowns, deleted scenes, audio commentary and more.

At crossroads in their separate lives, they are close to settling for the wrong partner, unaware that they live only blocks apart and may be each other’s soul mates. (Deadline)

An animated series based on “Marvel’s Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur” comic book series is in the works at the Disney Channel. Laurence Fishburne will be a producer on the series. (Deadline)

Former “Justified” star Walton Goggins has joined the cast of CBS’s “L.A Confidential” pilot. Goggins will play the role Kevin Spacey played in the 1997 movie, Detective Jack Vincennes. (Variety)

Katie Holmes is in talks to star in an untitled FBI drama pilot for Fox, former ”Empire” showrunner Ilene Chaiken and Melissa Scrivner Love. The series, which Holmes would also executive produce, centers on FBI Special Agent Hazel Otis (Holmes), who’s in the midst of investigating a domestic terrorism threat when a personal indiscretion – an affair with a prominent general – shatters her life and threatens her career at the FBI. Now labeled “the mistress,” Hazel Otis – wife, mother, patriot – begins to rebuild her personal life and professional reputation. (Deadline)

Mel Gibson will direct the pilot episode of USA Network’s “Dancing Bear”, an adaptation of the crime novel by the late James Crumley to be adapted by Oscar-winning screenwriter Robert Towne and produced by Mike Medavoy. (Deadline)

“Black Panther” duo Michael B. Jordan and Ryan Coogler are reuniting on “Wrong Answer”, which focuses on the 2006 standardized test cheating scandal at Atlanta public schools. Jordan will portray teacher Damany Lewis, who joined the effort in order to prevent his school from shutting down under provisions of the No Child Left Behind law. Eleven teachers were indicted on racketeering allegations. (Variety)
