Ahhh yes. Another one of those kid’s TV shows that parents just can’t get enough of is getting made into a film. Step off the ledge folks, this one is a live-action version so perhaps not as painful.
Paramount Pictures has officially given the “Dora the Explorer” live-action flick a release date of Aug. 2, 2019. Michael Bay is producing alongside Andrew Form and Brad Fuller, with Nick Stoller scriptwriting and James Bobin to direct.
The film is like Dora with a difference, as it will be Dora as a teenager, moving to the big city to live with her cousin. The original animated series was on Nickelodeon for 8 seasons from 2000-2014.
