A Quiet Place sequel officially announced

Given its success, it’s really good news that “A Quiet Place” is officially getting a sequel.

Paramount Studio chairman Jim Gianopulos made the exciting announcement at CinemaCon, conforming that the sequel was already in development.

It’s good news for fans of genre films, as they are getting way more recognition these days. The success of “A Quiet Place” at the box office had pretty much cemented in a follow up, but it’s nice to have the official word.

No news yet on Krasinski’s involvement, nor a release date.
