More details have been released about Seann William Scott’s character on FOX’s “Lethal Weapon”.
The “American Pie” alum, who is playing the new partner of Damon Wayans’ Roger Murtaugh after Clayne Crawford was fired from the series, is a detective and father of one.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Scott’s character, Wesley Cole, is a veteran (as was Crawford’s Martin Riggs) and has a child with his ex, Dr. Natalie Flynn. The two met in the service, where he was a soldier and she a medic, and had a brief relationship that led to Natalie having their baby.
Cole moves to Los Angeles in order to be closer to the child and potentially rekindle his relationship with Natalie.
Maggie Lawson (“Psych”) will play the ex.
