The recently-rumored “21 Jump Street” is inching forward, it seems, with up and comer Tiffany Haddish (“Night School”) said to be in talks to star in the Sony spin-off.
The news hails from Collider, who says Haddish will play a cop posing as the mother of a student in the Rodney Rothman-directed movie.
Awkwafina, seen recently in “Crazy Rich Asians”, is in contention to co-star as her partner.
