Universal have issued a first-look image from “Fast & Furious Presents : Hobbs and Shaw”, the Dwayne Johnson-Jason Statham actioner skedded for August 2, 2019.
Johnson tells EW, “There’s going to be some big, ‘Oh, holy sh‑‑, I did not see that coming’ moments,”…. [but also] honor, a ride-or-die spirit, and above all else, family comes before anything. So I do think we delivered on that. Again, it was very, very important to us. Because this is now four Fast movies that I’ve done, so I understand the power of that, because it’s ingrained in my DNA.”
EW have the first official pic from the upcoming “Shaft” flick starring Richard Roundtree, Samuel L.Jackson and Jesse Usher as three generations of Shaft men.
Jackson tells the outlet his John Shaft II has “mellowed a bit. He’s not quite as crazy and cynical. Maybe a bit more devil-may-care the last time we saw him. But still an extremely dangerous and funny character.”
The film, directed by “Barbershop” alum Tim Story, releases June 14, 2019.
The first photos from Jordan ‘Get Out’ Peele’s “US” have been released. Starring Lupita Nyong’o and Winston Duke, the pic will feature a mother and father taking their kids to their beach house expecting to unplug and unwind with friends. But as night descends, their serenity turns to tension and chaos when some shocking visitors arrive uninvited.
This one, says Peele, is “[something] more firmly in the horror genre but still held on to my love of movies that are twisted but fun.”
EW, again, have some new pics from “John Wick : Chapter 3”, featuring Keanu Reeves and Halle Berry, which opens April 12.
