Once Upon a Time In Hollywood photos : Pitt! DiCaprio! Robbie! Pacino!

This film better be as perfect as a fresh ham and cheese on multigrain, delivered in seconds by a waitress at a quiet café on a hectic day, or I’ll have wasted sweat beads and fist thumps on nothing.

New photos from the eagerly-anticipated “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood”, which is best described as part Sharon Tate bio and part expose of the fuzz and superfluous of Tinseltown in the late ‘60s, have hit the w’s. With Quentin Tarantino scripting and directing, and a cast that ranges from the always-dependable (Brad Pitt, Leonardo DiCaprio, Margot Robbie, Al Pacino, Tim Roth) to the interesting (Luke Perry, Dakota Fanning, Danny Strong, Nicholas Hammond, Rumer Willis) and god-damn pants-wetting cool (Kurt Russell, Martin Kove, Damon Herriman), it’s undoubtedly the most anticipated of the ‘adult’ films being released this summer.

DiCaprio and Pitt play a faded TV actor and his stunt double, respectively, who embark on an odyssey to make a name for themselves during the Helter Skelter reign of terror in 1969 Los Angeles. Australia’s Damon Herriman is playing Charles Manson with Margot Robbie as his beautiful tragic victim, Tate.

Aside from Pitt and DiCarpio’s fictional lead duo, there’s a lot of real life folks serving as characters in the story too including Steve McQueen (played by Damian Lewis), Connie Stevens (Dreama Walker), Sam Wanamaker (TV Spidey, Nicholas Hammond), Bruce Lee (Mike Moh), Roman Polanski (Rafal Zawierucha), and Emile Hirsch plays Jay Sebring, who many will recall was the hair stylist for celebrities and another famous victim of Manson’s.

The film doesn’t kick off until July, so we’ve a while to wait, but I’m sure the trailer will be along shortly and maybe even some Superbowl TV spot goodness, but for the meantime, the best and most beautiful pics from the film seen to date!

Enjoy!
