Brie Larson is soon going to debut herself as superhero Captain Marvel (aka Carol Danvers), in the upcoming film titled after her character. And while we all love a bit of girl power, it seems that an unlikely hero has risen to steal the show, based on early screenings.
Indeed it is Goose the Cat who is the hero, with the feline reportedly stealing the show. But really, in the era of internet cat memes and videos – can we really be so surprised?!
At this stage it is not known what kind of role Goose plays in the film, but according to Steven Weintraub of Collider, it is Goose that leaves the audience in a frenzy.

Aside from Larson and Goose, “Captain Marvel” also stars Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury, Jude Law as the commander of Starforce, Clark Gregg as Phil Coulson, Lee Pace as Ronan the Accuser, Djimon Hounsou as Korath the Pursuer, Gemma Chan as Minn-Erva, and Ben Mendelsohn. The film arrives on March 8, 2019.
