Caffeinated Clint
Well, that was a rather so-so Bond 25 announcement! Glad I canceled that little league baseball match I was coaching, that tango class with my dog-shaving neighbour and weekend grocery shopping at the liquor market to watch the stream.
It was a case of “but wait, didn’t we already know that?” as the producers of Bond 25 confirmed Rami Malek as the film’s villain, that most of the cast of the precious films (including Jeffrey Wright) are returning alongside retiring 007 Daniel Craig, and that production is underway (in Jamaica, where the film begins with Bond in holiday mode).
They don’t have a title to announce though.
.. and they didn’t even show Billy Dee as Lando.
Oh wait, wrong franchise.
There were some smile-providing elements : an April release date, the addition of Ana De Armas of “Blade Runner 2049” fame and Billy Magnussen of “Game Night” fame to the cast (still, I think they need a solid, surprising mega-name to anchor this cast!), and
