Sly Stallone will hit the Croisette with footage from the highly-anticipated “Rambo Last Blood”, the Cannes Film Festival marketeers announced today.
The fest is honoring Stallone with a career tribute on May 24, encompassing footage from the final “First Blood” sequel, as well as a new fully-restored 4K DCP presentation of the 1982 original.
The presentation offers fans a sneak peek at the Lionsgate release, which doesn’t open until September, as well as the opportunity to revisit the first stand of John Rambo in “First Blood”.
Starring Stallone, Paz Vega and Oscar Jaenada, “Last Blood” opens worldwide September 20.
