Hollywood, It extended cuts on the way

Quentin Tarantino is definitely toying with the idea of crafting a four-hour cut of “Once Upon A Time in Hollywood” for for the Netflix platform, star Brad Pitt confirmed in an interview this week.

Tarantino cut an extended version of his “Hateful Eight” for Netflix, which Pitt agrees is a wonderful thing for both filmmakers and viewers.

“It’s almost the best of both worlds: You have the cinema experience that exists, but you can actually put more content in the series format”.

Meantime, a “Super Cut” of both “It” films looks to be in the works.

Speaking with ET Online, director Andy Muschietti says: “We’re in talks with the studio to make a supercut, which is basically the two movies edited together with all the material that is not in the released versions. And yeah, there are a couple of scenes that I want to shoot to make this a new experience.”

Muschietti said there are two scenes in particular he lost – “one thing is from the novel and the other thing is not… I want to be a little cryptic about it.”

The “It : Supercut” would likely clock in at around six-and-a-half hours, confirms the filmmaker.
