Jerry "Hey, wasn’t I suppose to interview him this week?" O’Connell has lost out to NZ actor Daniel Gillies for the love of Kirsten Dunst’s love interest in the "Spider-Man" sequel. According to Variety, Gillies will portray John Jamison, an astronaut who woos Mary Jane Watson (Dunst), true love of Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire). Spider-Man 2 begins production Saturday in New York (April 12) under the direction of Sam Raimi.
