Paramount has released a new TV spot for “A Quiet Place Part II” – hard to believe it’s out in 3 weeks! – which fixes on our family trying to push on without the expertise of Dad.

Former movie mogul Harvey Weinstein has been convicted of sexual assault. He was remanded into custody to await sentencing in March. The jury found the “Shakespeare in Love” producer guilty on two counts; a criminal sex act for assault on Miriam Haley and third-degree rape of Jessica Mann in 2013. The verdict came after the jury told the judge last week they couldn’t reach a decision and were ordered to keep deliberating. Former “Lethal Weapon” star Seann William Scott will star in a new TV comedy from “Spy” and “Bridesmaids” helmer Paul Feig. “This Country”, set up at FOX, is “a half-hour mockumentary inspired by the BBC Three format created by Daisy May Cooper and Charlie Cooper. The show follows the daily lives of cousins Kelly and Shrub Mallet, who are trailed by a documentary crew as they go to a small town to study young adults and their current concerns in an idiosyncratic surrounding. The show follows the pair as they pursue their dreams, confront challenges and fight each other for frozen pizza.” [More…]
