This from the News Desk….

Going to be talking to the renowned funnyman Will Ferrell in a couple of weeks, when he’s out here in the country talking up “Old School”. And by the looks of it, it doesn’t look like I’ll be short of ‘future projects’ to talk about with him.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, the SNL luminary will star opposite Christina Applegate in a comedy called “Anchor Man: The Legend of Ron Burgundy” for director Adam McKay. The rather ‘unusual’ sounding movie is set in the 70’s and sees a local news anchorman with perfect hair and an inflated ego (Ferrell) who believes he is ready for a national network job falling in love with a cutthroat feminist reporter (Applegate) also out to further her career and who threatens his job.

Seems I’ll also be able to touch on Ferrell’s writing career: he helped scrawl this effort.

Max and Legolas for "Revelations"?

Now it's a "Scary Movie"!
