Jon Entwhistle (““The End of the F—ing World””) has stepped in for Jon M.Chu on Disney+’s “Willow” sequel series. In addition to helming the pilot, Entwhistle will also executive produce alongside co-showrunners Jonathan Kasdan and Wendy Mericle Kasdan and Kathleen Kennedy, Michelle Rejwan, Roopesh Parekh and Ron Howard. Zach Braff (“Scrubs”) will star in Disney+’s “Cheaper by the Dozen” remake. The actor joins Gabrielle Union in the Kenya Barris-directed movie, which centers on a multiracial, blended family of 12, navigating a hectic home life and their family business. “Cheaper by the Dozen” will debut on the Disney Plus streaming service sometime in 2022.
