With “Black Widow” no longer eyeing a May opening, no surprise to see Lionsgate move up the release of “Saw” spin-off “Spiral : From the Book of Saw” to May 14, 2021.
The horror flick, starring Chris Rock and Samuel L.Jackson, was moved up a week from May 21.
The film was originally due for release in 2020 but pushed due to the ongoing pandemic.
Further, the new Jason Statham/Guy Ritchie flick “Wrath of Man” is moving to the May 7-9 weekend, which was the spot “Black Widow” just vacated.
The former, previously dated for April 23, stars Statham as a cash-truck security guard out to settle a score.
