The Julia Roberts-George Clooney flick “Ticket to Paradise” has been shut down for several moments because of Covid.
According to Variety, due to a serious COVID outbreak in Queensland, Australia, the production has paused and the “Ocean’s Eleven” duo have reportedly flown back to the United States.
Local reports say the film, which began production this year across the state, was only two weeks away from completion but won’t be finished for three months now.
The Ol Parker-directed comedy follows two divorced parents who rush to Bali to stop their teenage daughter from rushing into an unwise marriage, like their own. Queensland’s beachy terrain would’ve played proxy to Bali.
The film was due for release Oct. 21, 2022 but this latest delay suggests the release will be pushed back.
