Florence Pugh to play Princess of Dune sequel!?

Florence Pugh (“Black Widow”, “Midsommar”) is in talks to join the cast of Warner’s “Dune” sequel.

If negotiations pan out, Pugh will play Princess Irulan Corrino, the eldest daughter to Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV, opposite a returning cast including Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Zendaya and Josh Brolin. Director, producer and co-screenwriter Denis Villeneuve is also returning.

Production on the film is expected to start in the fall, with the film set to bow on October 20, 2023.

Pugh is currently filming Christopher Nolan’s “Oppenheimer” opposite Cillian Murphy.
