With Cannes screening locked in, seems Top Gun : Maverick is really going to release this time!

The long-awaited “Top Gun : Maverick” will screen at this year’s Cannes Film Festival, Variety has confirmed.

Cannes had been trying to nab a screening of the film since Covid-19 delays upended the film release calendar.

“Maverick”, which sees Tom Cruise reprise his role as Lt. Pete ‘Maverick’ Mitchell, opens in theaters May 27. Cannes is set for May 17-28.
