Will Ferrell joins Barbie movie

Will Ferrell is joining Margot Robbie in director Greta Gerwig’s “Barbie” movie for Warners.

The “Anchorman” star joins a star-studded cast that includes Ryan Gosling. America Ferrara, Kate McKinnon and Simu Liu in the comedy.

Robbie is on board to play Barbie with Gosling set to play Ken. No word on Ferrell’s character.

Gerwig also co-wrote the script with Noah Baumbach.
