At CinemaCon in Vegas today, Paramount unveiled both a first look and the title for Tom Cruise’s seventh “Mission : Impossible” movie.
Mission: Impossible 7 — Dead Reckoning: Part 1.
Cruise was on video, because he’s currently shooting the 8th instalment, to announce the title.
Of the trailer, says USA Today : “The “Mission: Impossible” trailer promised more death-defying stunts from Cruise, as his globe-trotting agent Ethan Hunt is told that his days of “fighting for the greater good are over.” The footage was jam-packed with explosions, car chases and Cruise punching bad guys on top of a moving train, culminating in a hair-raising moment where his motorcycle goes off a cliff and sends him into freefall.”
“Mission : Impossible 7 – Dead Reckoning : Part 1” is due July 14, 2023, with an eighth “Mission” due out June 28, 2024.
