Rocky’s Talia Shire and actor-son Jason Schwartzman (Shopgirl, pictured) have boarded Francis Ford Coppola’s Megalopis.

The project, billed as a story of political ambition, genius and conflicted love and set in Rome, reunites Shire with her Godfather trilogy director.

Shia LaBeouf, Grace Vanderwaal (”Stargirl”), Kathryn Hunter (The Tragedy of Macbeth) and James Remar (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) are also newly aboard the $100m film, which kicks off its shoot this fall.

Adam Driver, Forest Whitaker, Nathalie Emmanuel, Jon Voight, Laurence Fishburne and Aubrey Plaza will also star in the epic, penned by Coppola.
