Harry Potter and Paddington 2 alum Brendan Gleeson is set to join Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga in Todd Phillips’ Joker sequel, Joker: Folie à Deux for Warner Bros. and DC Films.
The sequel, said to be partly a musical and set within the walls of Arkham Asylum, has an Oct. 4, 2024 release.
Philips directs and co-writes with Scott Silver.
Warner have no comment on the casting, nor has Gleeson’s role been revealed.
