Harvey Keitel (Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction) and Olga Kurylenko (Quantum of Solace, Black Widow) will star in director Scott Weintrob’s action-thriller Paradox Effect.
Shooting next month in Italy, the pic fixes on “an innocent woman (Kurylenko) is forced to confront a dangerous kingpin (Keitel) who has kidnapped her young daughter and is holding her for ransom. She teams up with a corrupt Interpol agent, whose son is also being held hostage, to rip off various criminals to raise the ransom to save their offspring. Together they have one hour to save their families from the wrath of Keitel’s character”, per Deadline, who had the scoop.
Iervolino & Lady Bacardi Entertainment are producing the film. The outfit, formerly Iervolino Entertainment S.p.A., is a global production company established by Andrea Iervolino and Lady Monika Bacardi in 2011 specialized in cinema and television content production. Their productions include ”Puffins”, featuring the voice of Johnny Depp, Minamata, also with Depp, and James Franco starrer In Dubious Battle.
