Everything Everywhere All at Once directors Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert are reportedly directing an episode of the upcoming “Star Wars” series “Star Wars: Skeleton Crew” for Lucasfilm and Disney+.

The news, hailing from One Take News, suggests the Oscar-winning filmmakers doesn’t say whether the duo have already completed an episode of the series or will direct one in the future. Lucasfilm have yet to comment.

Meantime, Jeff Sneider had a late update tonight about the long-gestating Star Wars movie project Damon Lindelof that had been working on. According to the oft-reliable insider, the Lost alum is now off the project.

Damon Lindelof and Justin Britt-Gibson have exited the Star Wars project that Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy remains slated to direct, Above the Line has exclusively learned.

Lindelof and Britt-Gibson turned in a draft of the script in mid-February and parted ways with the project just days later, according to sources. Lucasfilm already has a new writer on board, though ATL was unable to ascertain their identity. Production is slated to start in February 2024 ahead of the film’s planned release date on Dec. 19, 2025.
