Anaconda sequel could star Pascal, Rudd.. and Cage?

Film to be helmed by ‘Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent’ director

Recent SNL hosts Pedro Pascal (“The Mandalorian”, “The Last of Us”) and Paul Rudd (“Only Murders in the Building”, This is 40) have been approached to fight a giant scaly thing in Sony’s reboot of ’90s hit Anaconda.

Giant Freakin Robot, who have the scoop, says director Tom Gormican, who previously directed The Unbearable Weight of Massive Talent, says that film’s star Pascal has been offered a role in the film. A month or two back, Gormican reportedly offered co-star Nicolas Cage a part in the same film. Also offered a part in the film – which is likely an ensemble movie like the 1997 original – Ant-Man star Rudd, who is currently working with Sony on the Ghostbusters : Afterlife sequel in the UK.
