Talk about big names- Sean Penn and Leonardo DiCaprio are reportedly being hunted to play the leads in the adaptation of the Michael Punke novel “The Revenant” – according to Deadline.
Alejandro González Iñárritu (“Babel”, “21 Grams”) has signed to direct the film, about an explorer who seeks revenge on two men who abandoned him when he was attacked by a bear on a fur-hunting expedition.
The explorer, Hugh Glass (hopefully to be played by Leo) recovers from the mauling and then tracks the fellas down, one of which will be Sean Penn, all things going to plan.
