Rogen joining B-Team, considers Pineapple Express sequel

Seth Rogen wants another ride on the ‘Pineapple Express’ but for the meantime he might hitch a ride with the “B-Team”.

Cinema’s Green Hornet is producing a Disney comedy called just that – “The B Team”, says Variety. The trade says the project is centered on a top secret agent being kidnapped, leaving his tech support team and researchers to rescue him. The film, which scripties Derek Guiley and David Schneiderman sold to Disney a few years back, will likely also end up starring Rogen.

Meanwhile, Rogen says it’s possible he and James Franco may get together to smoke up another “Pineapple Express” in the future.

“I don’t think it’s so precious that I wouldn’t want to ruin it with a sequel,” the “50-50” star told E! Online. “So yeah, I would be [into it]. We talk about it. We joke around about it.”

Don’t much care for a sequel myself, but guessing a lot do.
