Don Draper’s mistress looks into Joss Whedon’s Eyes

Abigail Spencer, who cable cats will recognize as Don Draper’s mistress on “Mad Men”, will star in Joss Whedon’s “In Your Eyes”.  Whedon wrote and will produce the “supernatural romance”; Brin Hill directs.

The Hollywood Reporter
says this is another film Whedon’s making through his “micro-studio” Bellwether Pictures, which he created with Kai Cole in order to produce smaller-budget movies. The first, “Much Ado About Nothing” starring Amy Acker, Alexis Denisof and Sean Maher, was shot last year.

Story details for “In Your Eyes” haven’t been released but it’s said to revolve around people who are somehow supernaturally connected despite being polar opposites.

Aside from “Mad Men”, Spencer has appeared in such films as “Cowboys & Aliens” and next month’s “This Mean’s War”.
