Trailer for Safe Haven with Julianne Hough & Josh Duhamel

The images below are for Clint. The trailer is for us girls.

Julianne Hough (our editor’s object of affection; try wrestling her away from Ryan Seacrest though!) and Josh Duhamel seemingly have on-screen ‘Sparks’ (like that!? No, me either) in the film adaptation of “Safe Harbor”, based on the weepie Angus & Robertson offering by “Notebook” author Nicholas Sparks (that’s where the ‘Sparks’ pun came in… see?). Cobie Smulders, of “The Avengers”, also has a part in this.

Lasse Hallstorm (“The Cider House Rules”) directs the film, the story of a mysterious young woman who arrives in a small North Carolina town, and how her reluctance to join the tight knit community raises questions about her past. Slowly, she begins putting down roots, and gains the courage to start a relationship with Alex, a widowed store owner with two young children. But dark secrets intrude on her new life with such terror that she is forced to rediscover the meaning of sacrifice and rely on the power of love in this deeply moving romantic thriller.

“thriller”? Oooh. You devil, Nicholas.
