Likely only because Scooby Doo wasn’t available, Chris Carter has signed Jamie Kennedy to be part of his upcoming Amazon Studios’ series “The After”, according to Deadline.
The star of “Son of the Mask” will play – get this! – a proffesional clown in the series, which marks “X-Files” creator Carter’s return to series.
Adrian Pasdar, of “Heroes” and “Near Dark” fame, and Aldis Hodge, of “Leverage”, are also joining the GeorgevilleTV production.
The show, which will be written and directed by Carter, “takes place at the moment of apocalypse”.
